For a small firm shopping for security tools, the practical change this week is none.

What I would actually watch on September 29 is the unnamed deployment product rather than the model. BigGo Finance described tooling that creates automated workflows and patches vulnerabilities. If that ships, it will reach most small businesses indirectly, through the security vendors and managed providers that resell OpenAI models, and the question worth asking a vendor is which model is running and who can see the logs.
